Classroom Rules
  1. Respect your classmates, the teacher, and school property.

  2. No disrupting class (DO NOT MISBEHAVE).

  3. Be on time and ready to learn. (TO AVOID A TARDY YOU MUST BE IN THE CLASSROOM BEFORE THE BELL RINGS AND IN YOUR SEAT BY THE TIME I REACH THE FRONT OF THE CLASSROOM).

  4. No cell phones/IPods.

  5.  Follow these and all school rules.
 
Consequences
1.      If you break any of the rules you will serve a 30-minute detention.
2.      If you miss your scheduled detention you will serve two 30-minute detentions.
3.      Failure to serve both detentions will result in AFTER-SCHOOL INTERVENTION (ASI).

Participation Grade
Students are required to participate.  Students will need to answer ten questions per week.  Each answer is worth one point.  ¡Espero que hablen muchísimo español! 
*Points will be lost if student disrupts the learning process.

Homework Grade
The homework grade will include turning in a notebook.  This notebook must contain a table of contents, worksheets, notes taken in class, and all tests and quizzes.  
*Keep them neat and bring them to class everyday.

Make-up Work
It is each student’s responsibility to make-up any missed assignments, quizzes, and tests as soon as possible.

Tutors
If you miss any lesson or do not understand the material presented in class, please contact me.  I will be available by appointment during Extra-time/Extra-help and after school.

Permission to leave class
·         You must have permission and a pass to leave the room.
·        
Students are allowed four bathroom passes per grading period.  

Tips for a successful year in Spanish
·        Study vocabulary at least ten minutes a day.
·        Always do your homework
·        Pay attention and participate in class.
·        Turn in all assignments on time.
